After being introduced to Jim through a colleague at work I was delighted to discover he is as talented, creative and enthusiastic as you could hope for. He was unbelievably tolerant and creative in meeting my brief and creating a brand personality somewhere between Russell Coight, Steve Irwin and David Attenborough. Yes, he is practically a saint!

 

I had a lot of fun working with Jim on all the wonderful ideas he developed, narrowing down design elements and finally nailing the perfect logo, colours and personality for my expedition and documentary. 

 

The brand has become an iconic part of my expedition and brilliantly adaptable to a multitude of digital and print applications. It has drawn people in, starting many great conversations on the road, communicated so much across the many cultures of Oceania and is held close to the hearts of Rangers around the region as representing a journey about them.

I first spoke with Jim from C*Juice when I was in the process of developing our Houndztooth brand.  I was searching online for designers for brands that appealed and discovered C*Juice had designed a brand I really liked.

From my first meeting with Jim I was impressed with his enthusiasm, experience and design knowledge.  I felt our personalities suited each other which I believe is really important when working with a designer as there is a lot of emotion behind a brand.  I left our first meeting excited to receive Jim’s first brand concepts. Jim is extremely professional to work with and I continue to work with him exclusively on our Houndztooth brand and product range.  Jim has the attention to detail that I seek in a designer.  This is very important to me when developing and growing our Houndztooth product range.  I can always rely on Jim to ensure our branding and design is in line with our branding vision and philosophy.
